Bionic Brew

This is the one that started it all, Shenzhen’s original craft brewery, Bionic Brew.  It’s been around more than 5 years and while it might have jumped locations a few times, it’s now settled into a local food street in Baishizhou and doesn’t look to be moving anytime soon.

As the original, they have had a lot of time to polish their craft, and it shows.  The lineup of beers is constantly rotating and always on point.  You’re also likely to find the founder, Joe, hanging around for a beer. Most of the seating is outdoors, but there is some room inside and they will usually bring out a tent if rain is in the forecast. Between Bionic and Peko, which is right next door, this is one of my favorite places to grab a beer whenever I’m in Shenzhen.

If you’re hungry, I highly suggest ordering a pizza from NYPD, which is in the same building.
