For an out-of-towner, this place might be a bit hard to locate. If you follow your map and look down, that’s where it will be. There is a recessed basement area called Found 158, and that’s where this little slice of heaven is located.
No, it isn’t a brewpub. It isn’t even a bar or a taproom. However, it does have my favorite slice of pizza in Shanghai — a massive thing from a 20″ pie, served on a paper plate (the pepperoni and the white are both excellent). More importantly, they have local craft beer on tap and feature Shanghai Love IPA. This is one of my absolute favorite IPAs in all of China, featuring a juicy and dank mix of 7+ hops. If you miss Simcoe like me, you owe it to yourself to try this one.
